I would say that people like Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh are partly responsible for the lunatic fringe. Especially Rush Limbaugh, he's been doing this for how many years?
I think it's interesting to note that every last one of these loonies constantly and consistently interrupts themselves mid-sentence to start another string of bullshit because they've caught themselves lying and have to start digging a different hole.
