Value Village, mostly. I don't know what's the point in spending $60 on a pair of pants when they won't last more than a couple of years. Most of the clothes I've bought at Value Village, despite being second hand, have lasted longer.

Thrift stores
Mall dept stores (Macy's, Nordstrom)
Torrid
Kohl's
Target/Walmart
Online (threadless.com mostly)

and once in a blue moon i'll shop at expenive boutiques on haight street. maybe like once a year, if that.

*expensive

everywhere. i'm a tshirt/sneaker whore. also, MRM, if i can find a good pair of jeans for 60 bucks i consider that a bargain, they are hard to find (at least for me)

Thrift stores for dresses, skirts cardigans.
Department stores for jeans. Usually where ever I might have received a gift card from.
The designer I work for is very generous and has donated to my wardrobe and now that I'm working in DTLA I want to start making more of my own clothes with fabrics and such that I find here. As well as start buying from the local wholesale shops.

With all that, there aren't really any places that I specifically shop. Sometimes it's that something in their display caught my eye and I had to go in and check out the product.
Also, I'm a clearance and bargain queen. I'm a stickler and try to never pay more than $30 for a pair of (department store) jeans or much else of what I buy.

at the same place as Thom Yorke, apparently! i was trying on shoes at this boutique where i have had an outstanding credit for over a year - it's super-expensive and everytime i think about getting something there it's like "i could buy three outfits for that amount of money". but i looked up at one point and there he was!

i really wish i were skinnier, as all the vintage shops i go to, only like really tall but fat people and super-skinny people can shop there. my size is probably average, and thus everytime i go somewhere, i can never find anything.

topshop, pretty much JUST TOPSHOP. occasionally asos.com too.

Pretty much exclusively at the fat guy store here in town.

Dillard's and Sears for work clothes. The friendly neighborhood rockabilly boutique for non-work clothes.

Usually like. GAP, Old Navy, Target. Um and I have a bunch of tops from Maurice's. I haven't been able to afford shopping for clothes in so so so long though.

What should go here?
