i sit on the floor, back to the wall or leaning against a soft yet sturdy piece of furniture such as a couch or bed

i balance the laptop on my knees or on a low coffee-table or on the floor in front of me as i sit in an unladylike sprawly-legged position

I am typically at my desk.

I tend to lay down in bed or on the couch with the laptop on my chest, as this makes my cat jealous and attracts her to my chest, which is even better than the internet.

If I am in bed, I have pillows propped and lean back and keep the macbook on my lap. (like right now).
OR
I will have my macbook on my night stand, and i will lay on my side, and my right hand will be under my pillow and head usually holding the hand of my snoozing hubby. That leaves my left hand to do all the typing and mouse controls.

If I am in my living room I sit upright and proper as much as I can, before sitting my laptop on my lap, and slouching.
