I get in the mood to listen to Joy Division's 'Closer' once it gets cold.
I associate the Strokes "Is This It" with Christmas
I associate pretty much all Immortal with the wintertime.. .but especially Blizzard beasts.
I associate "anthems at the welkin. . " by Emperor with christmas. . . .funny how a satanice band makes the best chistmas music
For some reason, I associate "Cindy" (the album) by Acetone with summer, although its a pretty bleak record, all in all.
"September Song" as covered by Young Gods - that one doesn't need any explanations, I suppose.
I always put The Cars' "Candy-O" in the car stereo on the first day of Spring.
With fall, I think of Bon Iver and Elliott Smith and shit like that.
