Jesus H those are some expensive duds.
*crosses fingers for corsets, flowery hats, and lily white skin to come back into fashion*
I see my hairstyle has finally come back in fashion, again.
oh god
is steampunk invading popular culture now?
As much as I love the Victorian era I am on a one-man crusade against steampunk. It's such a dumb aesthetic, mostly due to execution.
@retro.joe How often do you and rethwyll come to blows arguing this?
We agree to disagree on his obviously wrong-headed notions. Sometimes we fight just so we can makeout afterwards, though.
there is going to be a fight-in-makeout?
*gets popcorn*
please... continue....
Heheh.
When hasn't Victorian-inspired stuff been in vogue? Just a few years back, Victorian-cut tops were all the rage, we've still got plenty of military jackets, vest and scarves, etc etc etc.
You should see us talk about browser choice.
You and your ridiculous Chrome.
Are you trying to start something? AGAIN?
@Salomea:
Yeah, I forgot all about that! Victorian-cut tops were popular not too long ago. It came and went.
The past 2-3 years it has been alot of late-60s to early 70s clothes, including mod and what not. A few months ago, all the dresses in Banana Republic (in SF) was all 60ish. Plus, they had a Mad Men promo recently too.
@RetroJoe & @Rehwyll. You need to be more of a browser/OS whore like me. Right now I'm running Chrome, IE and Firefox on my Windows 7-running MacBook Pro.
Also, I agree with Retro.Joe on Steampunk. Somehow, wearing a bowler hat, hot-topic clothes, and goggles is "Steampunk."
At one point I had IE, FireFox, Chrome and Opera. I've also run Flock (which is a variation of FireFox) but not when I was running all of the above.
