Does it really matter? I hate everything that has come out of the last five years.

An ex of mine turned down an offer from them because the money wasn't good enough. That's about all I know about the practical aspects of it. I know there are a couple of them who lurk around here every now and then, so maybe they can tell you more.

Porn is not a meme. Nor is 'alt porn'. Porn is eternal, men will always need jerking off material. The fact that it's fairly new may make it seem like it's a passing fad or whatever you want to call it, but it's a growing market. GodsGirls and, to a lesser degree, Suicide Girls, are communities. A large part of the appeal is the fact that you genuinely get to interact with the models. They post journals and participate in forums, as models. From a girls' point of view, it's a very satisfying setup. It's, in a word, awesome. You don't get any of that with mainstream porn.

I'll go out on a limb and say your perception of such things might not be in line with the majority. In any case, the members who do interact with the models are generally at the opposite end of the creepy loser scale. The creeps stick to creeping and lurking, and those that aren't losers are usually the ones posting in the forums and writing journals and stuff.

@Britt - pretty much any girl in the sex industry views a man as another sucker, maybe more than your average girl because she doesn't have to take his soul in marriage (though, many of them do it anyway).
