Buying a new tube for my front bike tire, and looking for cheap kevlar linings so that accidentally riding over huge chunks of glass doesn't give me a flat ever again.
I agree, totally. Also metric all the way, but I've been raised otherwise so it's hard for me to think that way.
But it sucks so much that when I worked with these Brazilians, they'd always ask me conversions, like "how many cups in a gallon?" and I'd really have no answer for them... sigh!
30 degrees is actually the only Celsius temperature I actually have a feel for, because the summer I was studying in Florence, 30 degrees was always pretty much the line that started uncomfortably-hot!
