Yeah, I wish I weren't denying myself donuts. Oh well. :)

Well then you have to tell us what your favorite donut is.
Mine's a toss up between a cruller, a maple bar, or apple fritter. Oh man I want a donut now. I haven't had one in ages. Well, since I got drunk with Rick and Jeremy.

Different Jeremy? :D

She must have gone to get a donut. :D

My favorite is also a tossup (I could find pictures of neither);

One is a Peanut Pershing, which seems to be a Milwaukee thing. Basically it's a light cinnamon roll with a vanilla frosting and chopped peanuts. The other comes from the place I posted; it's a very airy powdered sugar covered donut filled with a butter creme chocolate frosting. Both have a day's worth of calories.

*sings own national anthem*

Today might have to be the day I track down the bakery in the Mission that makes bacon maple glazed donuts, huh?

But -j, that doesn't include YOUR nation. :D

@mizsarah Those are so tasty.

@Jay Def I'm up to at least five Jeremys now. It's kind of insane.

@Jay Def: every day is Donut Day here.

Has anyone read the sign? That's 15 donuts for $5. That's not even a sale, that's the regular price at Honeydip for any mix and match variety.

Forget the doughnut -- 1LB OF HOT HAM? Sign me up.

Favorite doughnut? The one in front of me. (Seriously, no such thing as a bad doughnut.)

@rethwyll Admit it, you miss Hot Ham and Roll Sundays.

I got your hard rolls right here, reth.

@-j - I know.

"Hot Ham and Roll" is the name of my new band.

@Moose: you say the sweetest things. xoxo

"Hot Ham and Roll" is the name of the failed cop show that I produced in the late 70s.

Is this also a holiday celebrated in Canada? Because, whoa, Canadians LOVE donuts.

@divinemisscopa Yeah but, they put gravy on their donuts. It's a known fact.

As -j said above...every day is national donut day in Canada.

-J. This is my formal warning that I will be writing a letter to the Prime Minister in regards to your treason-like actions of constantly enforcing Canadian stereotypes on a regular basis upon the internet.

"Formal warning"? Recriminations via sternly-worded letter? And I'm the one accused of propagating Canadian stereotypes...

IS THIS JUSTICE?

i will let the internet know this secret, Nikki is the most canadian of them all. She EVEN HAS A HOCKEY MULLET.

HEY

RetroJoe,

We celebrated Donut Day here at the office. We stopped by 7-11 this morning and bought a batch of 'em.

What should go here?
