@Ethan: we got on the left: a geek who thinks he's cool now (hipster) because he lives in SF and "started a web 2.0 company" by registering a domain name. To celebrate he bought that jacket and made his hair do that.
On the right is the girl he is boring with these facts. But she also wants proof so she whips out her iPhone (KIDDING! she already had it out) to look up his web2.0 website.
All the while they are waiting in line for some "street food" in the form of a guy making curry in a crockpot and charging $5 for it. They waiting in line for about an hour.

I can't stand those types either. A friend mocked me for living in Pacific Heights (where all the rich asian/white yuppies live for those of you who haven't been to SF), to which I pointed out that the Mission is worse: same type of hollow poeple, but the Mission faux-Hipsters are smug about it. At least, I'm not gentrifying a working-family neighborhood.
