It's my last stop on this round-the-world trip, and I head there tonight! I fly into Sao Paolo and will probably take a bus to Rio after a few days. I want to make the mostof my time but am also fairly ready to be back in NYC for the summertimes.
Seems like it's a gigantic country and while there is plenty to see, I'll end up spending $300+ on flights if I try to do anything too crazy, like amazonboat-trips or visiting islands and rainforests.
I just wrapped up a 4-day hike to Machu Picchu and that gave me a good serving of hiking and the outdoors, but I am open to suggestions if you have em! THANKS!

So far the only thing I have done is ridden a bus and 3 metro-trains and ate frosted flakesand cheese and bread and fruit and drank too much coffee.
Now I am waiting for my bed to open up at the hippie-style hostel where people all look like Ben Brown without the nerdy-programmer side.
