just walking around millenium park is really nice--and very free! (i actually did it twice while i was there, since my friend needed to do it after i did, but i still really liked it the second time.)
the aquarium was pretty awesome, if you like fish and awesome light fixtures...and you don't mind kids. they even have a little sea world-like dolphin show!
and there's a visitor's center that's in an old library that has all this fantastic tile work and art exhibits that are free.
also--if you go to the bar/have dessert at the john hancock building, you can get the same view experience, but you don't have to pay for the view (just whatever you're drinking eating) like you do if you go to the observation level. and if you do that, you should go to the ladies restroom because there's an amazing view from it (except that the insane crowd/picture taking in there can be a bit stressful).
okay, those were the main places i went to see when i was there!
uhh, and if pizza's not your thing, there's also these kinda famous popcorn stores there.
when are you going
lou malnati's pizza and old style beer
this deep dish pizza is for people who don't know what pizza is.
you can hang out with ma sista.
other than that, chi-town is still a mystery to me.
I don't like pizza, but I do like OGR so I bet her sister is way radder than deep dish pizza.
Oh also, I go on Thursday HOORAY for vacations!
Well, I just purchased the NFT (not for tourists) guide for Chicago 2008. So I think I should come.
