I work in West Hollywood were parking is a nightmare. The valet company let's me park in their lot, even though it is expressly against company rules.
That's already cool enough, but then this happened: I have had a dent in the side of my car forever. Somebody hit my car in a parking lot and just drove off. Last week I noticed that this dent I've had forever was basically gone. I pulled into the valet lot to go to work and the lead guy in charge was like, "Hey Robby. BTW did you notice we fixed your car?" It turns out he keeps a small, mobile auto detailing kit in his car, and equal parts him being nice and him being bored means my car is less terrible.
I was downtown a few days ago and some dude with insane hair paid my meter before i could get to it. He was all like "this is my gift to you!" and briskly walked away.
i was terribly confused and had such a nice feeling it freaked me out.
itt post nice things strangers have done for you

That's all.
Maybe they were just embarrassed by your terrible car. Okay, okay, that's cynical.
Also, I didn't mean to kill your thread! But I'm having trouble thinking of my own examples....
