Eureka Springs is awesome, and it's nothing *like* SF, but it truly is a delicious place to be.

Well, it's good to know that there are places like that in the south. though i should have known this was coming when my mom and her friends started going to gay bars in louisville.

DUde, I've been living in Arkansas for 5 months. My grandmother said to me like my 3rd day here back in july, It's a shame the gays are taking over Eureka Springs... It used to such a nice town..

I'm leaving in 2 weeks and couldn't be happier to get the hell outta the bible belt.

But on that note, Eureka Springs is an awesome town. My aunt got married there on Halloween.

There's a documentary called "Small Town Gay Bar" which is about gay bars in the deep south. It's pretty great and it's an instant watch on Netflix.

I fucking love Eureka Springs. It has never been overly gay, but I can definitely see how it could be. It is beautiful there and there are Victorian houses and antique stores galore. They have an awesome jazz fest there and idk how to explain it, it's just fucking gorgeous. I love the Ozarks period, though.
