But seriously. First chapter of the the first book, it was all "My name's Sookie and I am pretty and special and sadly I have never been in love. Then one day I saw a vampire and I thought he was sexy and he was totally into me, yay."

Really.

I downloaded the whole series online and tried reading the first few chapters but gave up because 1. they were pretty dumb, and 2. reading books on the compy really sucks.

I'm thinking of just buying them because I'd be more inclined to put up with the stupid if it wasn't on the compy, I think.

Yeahyeah, I downloaded them too! And there were errors in them. And I can't figure out if that's just because its a jank pirated ebook or if it has Twilight syndrome and maintains obvious grammatical/spelling errors throughout its many printings.

But yeah, at least the first one seemed like it was EXACTLY the show, except really stupid.

That is also EXACTLY MY REASON. I kind of realized I needed to watch the show so my brother and I watched both seasons innnnnnn a very short span of time. In time to watch the last episode on TV.

And now I'm suffering withdrawals, almost literally. I just kinda mope around repeating "I miss True Blood" over and over cos I'm a loser.

But really. A YEAR. A YEAR. A YEAR. I can't handle it. :[

I describe them as "twilight" for adults, take that as you will.

@WordNerd That's pretty much the feeling I got from them. Not a good feeling. Unless I come up with a huge chunk of time on my hands and nothing better to read (highly unlikely) I don't think I'll be sitting down with these things anytime soon.

No matter how badly I want the next season of True Blood.
