Boyle's voice is great, but the orchestration of this particular little number left much to be desired for my taste.

It's...different. So different that they might as well have just made it an entirely new song.

Yeah, I'm not loving it. It seems the arrangement is a little too sterile (mechanical) for the way she warbles. I think it might have been better a cappella, and without changing "my little girl" to "my little boy." That part almost sounds creepy... definitely unnecessary. Har.
