Apparently that last "attic" episode was written by the same people who wrote Dr. Horrible, if that helps explain it.

I think it's been good. Also, I've been told this is it on episodes, so they have to get out the big guns, right?

yes, they totally picked up the pace because of the cancellation.

some are bemoaning this effect, wishing Whedon had the usual luxury of time to spread out the goodness over more episodes.  however, i think it's all to the good; too often, shows just tread water, rationing out the revelations to keep you hooked but bored.

i didn't grasp the implications of the premise right away, the interesting directions it could go.  probably fox's fault for making him produce dumbed-down episodes at the start so people wouldn't get turned off.

What should go here?
