I should point out that Moby was also there but it seems like in the 2.5 years since I've moved here, I can't seem to poop without Moby being there. Last night at UCB he was all "I'm so sober!" which is funny, because last time I saw him he was snorting coke with a shirtless Adam Green.
also... uh... none such encounters recently... last attempt was this girl who i went out with took me to this dive bar in the west end because "brendan canning from broken social scene is ALWAYS there" but he wasn't there that night and i stopped seeing that girl 'cos she was annoying
not TOTALLY famous, but ive been gushing about how Brian from the bouncing souls invited me over to his home and tattooed me there. we've emailed back and forth abit too and are hopefully going to go out for a drink or 10 when they come here to play RiotFest in October.
not a big deal for most people, but the bouncing souls really mean a lot to me, especially now that i have moved so far from home.

my friend and i were wandering down collins street the other night and there was tim burton, just walking down the street. he was down to talk about the show at acmi, we walked after him to say hi but then second through it and felt like we would be hassling the dude when he was just walking down the street. we're both stupidly nervous.

the shirtless adam green show was the same show i went to see him soundcheck at. it was at a venue a few blocks from my apt and my bf was working at the show. and we were just standing there and these puppies come in and we're like "omg cute puppies!" and then he nudges me and THE PUPPIES WERE ATTACHED TO DEBORAH HARRY. (one was attached to her assistant). Apparently I went white as a ghost and kind of silent.
