Learn to love having roommates, or else be independently wealthy. Giant Robot is in the Haight, Green Apple is in the Inner Richmond, the best burritos are in the Mission and a monthly bus pass will get you just about anywhere you need to go. Bring a jacket and an umbrella, everyone is bisexual, liberal, and vegetarian until proven otherwise, and don't go anywhere downtown in December. That should keep you, I think.
Downtown in December are horrible crowds and capitalism. It's not worth the trip. Unless you're headed to Beard Papa to buy cream puffs, in which case I'll take two caramel.

Become friends with MizSarah ASAP. The rest is all extra, really.
You moving in with your ladytype?
i'm not moving in with her, i'm getting my own seperate type place. Though its not too far from her, i don't think.
@bizzy:
if MizSarah is as much a fount of advice as I suddenly and currently think her to be...I just may have to do just that.

I've discovered very quickly that I really don't like driving in downtown san francisco anyways this weekend. So i'm willing to believe that.
Now i have to wonder how to sneak two caramel cream puffs onto the muni.
FYI: no one drives downtown. You find a parkingspace, I'd advise you keep it. Cars are only for groceries and trips out of town.
Where are you moving from?
san jose, about 45 minutes away.
