Also, is it acceptable to take a sick day for strep and sinus infection? I feel like my boss is not okay with it..
It's not that it's acceptable to take a sick day for strep, you SHOULD do so. Strep is contagious. If you are taking antibiotics, you contagious as long as you have symptoms. If you're not taking antibiotics, you are contagious for up to 2 to 3 weeks.
I know. She's just annoyed with me because I worked Monday through Wednesday, then called in today. This sinus infection literally happened out of nowhere. I have a doctor's note now, just in case she tries to make a big deal out of it.
Good. If you're on antibiotics now, it should go away pretty quickly. Feel better soon! Take all of the antibiotics, even if you no longer feel any symptoms. :)
