Louisville is really low on the list. I've been to the southern bits of Ohio and Indiana and strayed into Kentucky a few times and just don't care for it.

I'm not certain there's anything in Memphis to hold my attention.

New Orleans seems the best choice. But I may go to all three if budgeting allows.

You have a choice? Any time I've ever been sent anywhere for work, I've been told exactly where, no questions.

N.O. FO SHO

It's intriguing that you get to choose. How does that come about?

I may not get to choose but I believe in this instance there's flexibility. We're doing projects in all three and my boss is going to them all. The trouble is our travel budget is dwindling. So I've been asked to sit in on at least one, so far there's no indication I don't get a choice.

Just think about the food, man. Do you want Louisville/Memphis skanky diner CRAP, or do you want real, luscious, home style cajun delectables? I'm talking crawfish for MILES, man. Pots of gumbo bigger than your head. Enough jumbalaya to keep you full til the end of time.

Think about it.

@Skoorb You construct a very convincing argument.

Memphis has graceland and beale street... and bbq.

@beccah. The only compelling thing on that list is the bbq.

I've been to all three and would order them:

New Orleans (duh)
Memphis
Louisville

I think your choice is pretty obvious. However, NO might be too expensive compared to the other 2 choices if travel budget is dwindling. So you might get stuck with one of the others. In which case, def go for Memphis.

@ajt Well, budget is right on the edge. I don't think one city or the other would make a difference as I could go to all three.

But I was thinking of using a few PTO hours and extending my trip.

What should go here?
