nothing wrong with kelly's or the ramp, but they're too far away for me and my buddy dr. ken to goto tonight. el rio doesn't have any hot chick to stare at on tuesdays, and i just don't like zeitgeist b/c of the portapotty stench.
i honestly can't think of any others. guess i'll actually have to look at sfstation or sumptin.
@Jay Def everyone loves zeitgeist but me. stinky back there.
yeah, lucky is cool. you can smoke, but no sun. i'm thinking an old neighborhood bar i used to go to that has kind of a sweet patio out back. that or broken record which just has a smoking patio that doesn't get any sun this late, but is pretty white trash, which i love.
still not sure. hrmph.
oh, i forgot wildside west, which is da bomb, but we've been going there a lot lately.
really quite extraordinary views (for the neighborhood). as i recall, you have to take the elevator up to the patio, and the elevator doesn't really look like it's connected to the business.
medjool is so effing overpriced, but yeah, it is cool. we almost decided on going there, but then settled on broken record or the portals, the first doesn't have a sunny patio, just a patio, and the second is so effing insular it can be annoying. we might re-evaluate yet again.
finnigans! i always forget about that place! and the yard is plenty big. shit, there's even ping pong back there...er, there used to be...haven't been in ages.
speaking of bars named after literary characters, mcteagues on polk is stellar. no patio there, but just a good old fashioned bar.
Potereo/Mission area there is a nice neighborhood bar with a sunny patio. I can't recall what it is called, except it is a few blocks from Cellspace and that they make some good salsa.
Will follow-up once I remember the name. It's named after a person, I think.

The only one I know is Zeitgeist, so I'm no help.

There's a patio at Finnigan's Wake, but it's small. Still it's close to his house if not yours.
