Oh, you know. Everything's shit financially which I'm beginning to think isn't going to ever change. But the good news is, I have a man that loves me very much, wonderful dogs, a bouquet of flowers that is just now beginning to pass away 10 days later, and a full pack of cigarettes still. I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow (besides re-apply for foodstamps) and we probably won't get dinner tonight but you know what? I've learned life ain't so bad, yanno? I'm pretty lucky. Fucked, but lucky.
@Consumatrix I have no work, no income and don't really see anything getting better in the foreseeable future so am being frugal and going a little stir crazy while wearing down what's left of my overdraft. I need to start looking for work but don't really know where to start.
Currently got an exhibition on though which is positive, especially if it sells, plus I may be writing/making a horror film in the near future (as a piece of art) which while it won't pay my bills is cheerfully occupying my mind.
Oh wow. Yeah I have a lot of sympathy for you and your plight. I'm embarrassed to say I'm quite familiar with those terms.. :/ Keep your chin up, though. It's VERY frightening at first to realize you have no money, no food, and no way to get either.. but you know what? Something always happens. I got over my pride and started going to food banks, got foodstamps, and government assistance. At first I felt like a shitty person for doing it, but what the hell. I pay my taxes, and I need to eat. Fuck 'em. I don't see anything getting much better for me either, so I try to focus on the small stuff. If I don't, I start thinking about sucking on a .45. Life is rad. :)
