I liked Revlon's Red, the shampoo was kind of thinned down but it gave my hair a nice tint that people constantly took notice of.
You should go to a local place that is not a Sally's and talk to someone. I like Hans Beauty stores, though I'm not sure if they are up there since it's a smaller chain. My favorite was this one I found pretty randomly. It was an older German couple that ran it and he turned me on to this great shampoo and amazing dye that is aloe based with practically no ammonia.
Is it worth it? Are there any ones you recommend?
They are if you dye your hair.
