Guess it depends. If it's an actual meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) I'll go to the effort. If it's just a bag of popcorn, I'll probably eat it out of the bag. In the specific case of popcorn, probably with both hands.
I eat EVERYTHING out of bowls, because i shake like a motherfucker. So it depends what kind of container the food is in, and how big a mess i can/will make.
I can't say that I've never doubled up the Easy Mac containers, dumped it into a measuring cup and eaten it straight of that before... or that I've never made mac and cheese in a tea kettle because I was drunk and didn't feel like cleaning a pot.
almost never
I'd say 2% of the time. It's just a longtime habit. That 2% mostly happens when I'm drunk.
I'm eating take-out salad out of the container RIGHT NOW!
But most of the time, I prefer dishes and such. I don't usually like eating out of plastic.

@-j. You eat popcorn with your *hands*? Well lah-di-dah.
@sparky: when I used my feet, it made my socks all buttery and I kept falling down when I tried to walk.

I do it almost 100% of the time and I don't live alone. It my form of environmentalism.
