sadly, not really more drinking than i do now. i have to be in the office at 0800, which means i need to be up at about 0530. i have to be asleep by 1030. kind of puts a damper on the heavy, mid-week drinking. the last time i worked days in the summer, i was able to run up a bar tab that was a little over 4k. i had been hoping to better that, this summer.
however, drinking on fridays won't be so rough anymore. no more 30 hour fridays, just so i can have a life.
@val: i do indeed remember what sunlight looks like. i was just out in it, having a lovely lunch (dinner). i don't really remember what it feels like to go to bed when it's dark out, on a regular basis. that's a far more important thing for me at this point.
wow, fantastic! I worked nights for 4 years and was only able to do it by maintaining a night time schedule the whole time. I'm an antisocial hermit most of the time, so it worked for a while.
seriously, i want to go eat, drink and be merry to celebrate.
YAY!
YAY! HUMAN HOURS! MORE DRINKING!

Congratulations! How long will this continue?
@val: this is a permanent change. i am now a daywalker.
@moondust: it is rough, indeed. i am so happy that i'll be free of the whole jetlagged feeling.
wooooo. let the drinking commence.
the $4000 bar tab covered a summer. 3 months of drinking. it was actually probably more than that. my tab was about 75 daily, including tip.
i spent the summer drinking with a depressed russian whose wife had just left him.
come to think of it, my bar tab for the summer was probably closer to 5 or 6k.
@reardensteel: Wow, can you handle it? Do you even remember what sunlight looks like?

@moondust: that is indeed a tempting offer. i shall take it under advisement.
what kind of beers? (answer very carefully) :)

@moondust: hmmmmm. this might require some re-tooling of your beer menu.
