Need ideas for things to do during the remaining recovery period. Ideas should be low cost or free, capable of being done in home or no farther than the back patio, LEGAL, and nothing that involves physical exertion. Bonus points for "kid friendly" (not like *that*, you perv).

Do you have netflix? They have the streaming video free with any unlimited account.
Also, hulu.com has lots of teevee for free... I watched all of arrested development there.
For kid friendly stuff - crafts! make up a scavenger hunt!
