I love soup too! I love most anything you can give me (not tomato) and I make a great broccoli cream soup. There's a restaurant by my office that does three soup de jour. Three! Also, their soup doesn't suck. Sometimes soup can suck.

I love a good lentil soup.

The best soup I ever had was a seafood chowder with halibut cheek at a restaurant in my hometown. The restaurant is now closed. It makes me sad.
Corn and clam chowder also deserve and honorable mention.
oh and how could I forget GUMBO.
