it will work fine with your pc, the photo and addressbook syncing isn't as nice as it is on the mac, but it works. also the wireless will require a wireless router to work. it will also work anyplace that has free wifi (like dunkin doughnuts)
G1 has a cheaper data plan. The platform isn't quite as mature, but it's much more capable than the iPhone, and apps don't have to blow Steve Jobs to get into the Android Market.
those other phones are great, and att customer service is horrid. but i've been an att customer since cingular (when customer service was good) and i never have to call them. the cellular is great around here, I NEVER have problems with my service thus, i rarely need to call them for anything.
thing is, the iPhone has GREAT software, and since that is what you are interacting with 100% of the time when you use the phone, it's nice to have something that is good looking, fast, and 'makes sense'
how compattable are they with other stuff?
define: other stuff.
the iPhone does what it does brilliantly. although, it does have it's shortcomings. No MMS, No Video, expensive data plan, no mulittasking, ect..
i recommend a dictionary
I cant play games on a dictionary.
