I think it's only as silly as what you get out of it. I mean, if you set it up so it only gets notes from your friends, I think it's sweet. Or if you wake up and have your to-do list, the weather, and a puzzle on it, that seems pretty cool. Foursquare can eat it.

Sure you can do that all on your phone, but that doesn't mean you should want to.
