I know this is lame, but in my iPhone Notepad, I keep two karaoke lists, "songs I've done well" and "songs I want to try next." Whenever I find myself humming a tune when I'm walking down the grocery aisle or wherever, I write it down.

@Philip - some may call it lame, I call it AWESOME. My friend Jen and I talk about how we practice our songs in the car and shower the two days before.
