his name is alobar and he never interacts with people except jeff at bedtime, but yesterday he kept playing fetch with me with little bits of paper. and obsessively smelling me and licking my things.

That's part of how Strangerbox and I ended up as a couple. Her scaredy-cat slept on my chest. Of course, we later found out she has terrible taste and it was just a fluke, but by that time it was too late.
