I see it a little differently from the other side of the lectern, but I'm sure my students would probably agree with, given some of the gusty sighs I hear some days.
Classes on religion. Unfortunately, I have to teach mainly core classes so students end up in my class whether they want to be there or not so it can be rough.
Better than teaching math or biology though. Those folks have it rough b/c almost everyone hates those subjects.
I don't have an attendance policy and post the lectures outline online so they don't have to come.
They do miss somethings that are on the test if they miss the classes, but that's their problem. I got so annoyed with the lack of attendance the other day that I gave the students present two questions verbatim from the final.
