The past several days I have heard the sound effect for picking up a coin in Super Mario World at least once a day in completely different locations.
When I sleep lately, I'm not unconscious. I hang in a dark space with no senses at all, but my brain still works. My time sense is pretty skewed though, and sometimes it seems to last for minutes. Sometimes it seems to last forever.
The first is a result of the second.
