As for the sun, I went to the beach last month (for the second time as an adult) with V.

I got a sunburn on my back, of roughly the same size and shape as a large duck.

(I've gone camping one time in the last 15-20 years. Carried an umbrella the whole time, which is apparently not a thing people do. Illustrations of Victorian ladies' outings have steered me wrong again.)
