@corey: bad writing (they couldn't decide between serious and camp and so failed at both), bad delivery (mostly from the spirit and serif), bad pacing, and whoever was in charge of the visuals made everthing look dorky more than badass, esp in the opening sequence. Finally, lorelei could have been mostly cut.
That said, there were some great moments, the "This is just ...weird..." scene being among my favorites.
it was nice seeing Paul Levitz though. he's always seemed like such a nice guy.
