@p: "Fool" by Christopher Moore. We had mixed opinions on it. I didn't have time to read it so I listened to the audiobook during work and I loved it. Everyone who listened to the audiobook seemed to like it more than the people who read it. The narrator was very good. Overall we mostly agreed that it was pretty entertaining.

Depends on the book club. Oprah, yes. Anarchist's Cook, not so much.
Also, you live in Phoenix and from what I've heard, there aren't that many chances to do stuff out there, so y'know, life, lemons, etc.

@loe: Currently on our reading list is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. So I think it's ok.
