lemon ginger tea with honey. licorice peppermint tea with honey. tea with honey in general.
Honey does what all of those DXM-laden over the counter remedies claim to do but disappoint in the end: coat and sooth your throat.
Tea, then honey. A nice big spoonful. No need to mix it up. Also, lots of water helps quite a bit towards shortening the time to recovery. I'm doing the same myself today.
I have been having teas…I am searching for more unusual yens when one is ill.
