poor baby, i had an experience like that... an old german woman gave me and my friends portions based on what we "needed"

2 guy friends - normal sizes

one skinny gal pal - huge size

me (a plump gal) - tiny little plate.

we asked what happened and she told me i needed to get skinny and that my friend would never catch a man with out more hips.

sigh.

I walked into one of the new local restaurants - you know, one of those places that changes owners every year or so - no one can seem to keep it open until it becomes a starbucks or something.

I was looking for breakfast. I asked the waiter guy when I walked in "Are you serving breakfast?"

He replied "No breakfast. Burgers and sandwiches ok!" This line was delivered with all the helpful optimism of a kindergarten teacher herding her children into the classroom. As I left I said "You're right! Burgers and sandwiches ARE ok"

For the next year or so any jedi mind tricks were referred to as "burgers and sandwiches"
