oh my stars......i am so sorry....we all have those stupid days, don't we. don't get me wrong, some are ridiculously worse than others.... ....i get the feeling i'm not helping matters at all....i'm sorry. that's a horrible day. you deserve a warm bath and a lot of pampering.
Fortunately the glass landed partially on one of our plastic patio chairs by the edge and somehow DID NOT BREAK? Thank god because the dog was right underneath it.
Mother in law is doing better. She was in really bad shape this morning -- Jason had to do CPR until the paramedics showed up. When we finally left the hospital she was about 90% aware of what was going on and talking to us.. a little confused but comparatively a quick recovery this time.
We feel a little whiplashed from the accident but it wasn't too bad. Actually the only thing wrong with my truck is well.. a little missing paint. Lucky for us, the girl hit my hitch. Can't say the same for her car, though. It didn't look too dented but it ripped the license plate half off. If Jason hadn't been with me I probably would have lost it at that moment and given the girl hell. I'm glad I didn't though -- she didn't look older than about 17 and in retrospect, I think her biggest issue is going to be explaining about her parents. And, my car insurance payment is late. Just. You know. So we took off.
Yeah. I mean the poor dog yanno? She would've been covered in broken glass. Can't really afford a vet bill and that would just be another problem right now if it had.
Oh and as it turns out? Mother in law overdosed. Not her emphysema this time. Overdose.
