Hah - well - I already have the stories. Thus - why they're revisions ;) But next story I have to write - I'll do my best to unearth an ancient fanfiction writing computer.
@electric bathduck - there's not many PhDs in creative writing - I think maybe 20 programs in the US? Total. But dude - Anything you want to know about applying for an MFA - I'll be more than happy to talk about. What genre?
poetry. mainly, i want to get into the best art school that i can and it is way more likely to happen in writing than visual art. i'm applying into saic and risd for bfas this fall (add cooper, tyler and parsons next fall if i don't get in this year) but hope to get into a mfa program before i graduate. (i already have a bach so i only need to prove that i have the portfolio.) i'll probably apply to columbia for mfaw next fall too. any advice would be appreciated.
@eletricbathduck - if you hate aim - hit me up - laundrykarma. I have plenty of advice to give :). [you definitely don't need to get your BFA to build up your portfolio]

can i provide a kick in the ass?
what schools are you applying to?
@des! - ass kicking will only lead me to further non-writing things - like icing my ass.
@electricbathduck - I have a vague list of about 14/15 schools right now for PhD programs. I should know more by say - August.
they have phd writing programs? i was thinking about applying for a mfaw.

all you need to build up your portfolio is testicular fortitude.
