oh, i didn't mean to imply that duder has been dallying in domestic violence. the guy creeps me out tho.

i actually don't know what the hell i was getting at, other than the need to express a weird mood i was in after listening to my friend tell me about how his wife is a raging psycho who has recently taken to physically violence against him and how he doesn't know how to deal with the situation.

well that's pretty awful, and I don't really know what to do about it either (that won't get him sent to prison somehow).
This happened to a friend of mine. The girl gave him a concussion, and then called the cops and told them he hit her, and he went to jail.

His best bet would probably be to skip town.

he'd definitely do that, but he's got two young kids he doesn't want to lose.

he's totally screwed. her parents are jehovahs witnesses with lots of money who would love nothing more than to get those kids and raise them for jehova. she is excommunicated from their church for her sinful ways which makes them try even harder....and blah blah blah the whole situation's a mess and she's a violent drunk.

i told him he needed to keep his junk wrapped up when they first started dating but noooooo.

He needs to talk to a lawyer ASAP. A court-ordered psych eval and a guardian ad litem report can make a world of difference in a custody battle. Photographing his injuries for future reference wouldn't hurt either.
