I know nobody cares, but seeing the 3 most important American playwrights living, shaking their hands and having conversations with them while they signed my myriad scripts was utterly amazing.

Also, telling Tony Kushner that you're two years behind on school and hearing him go "oh, taking the scenic route?" was simultaneously fulfilling and devastating.

I confess I only know of Tony Kushner, but that still sounds pretty amazing. Who impressed you most in person?

They're all exceptionally personable. Parks is hilarious, though (they all are, but she the most tonight) and enormously pleasant. Tony shook my hand and signed my copy of Angels in America and my friend's copy of The Illusion and then chatted with me for three or so minutes about school, my future plans, and all that. I had so much adrenaline I could hardly stand still.

Nice. It's always a great experience to meet people you admire...and then to relate to them personally! Bet you'll carry that memory close.

You have no idea. Now all I want to do is write write write.

What should go here?
