@bustie not yet, i think i will, it's not the best single player and i don't have regulars to play with but it's scott pilgrim meets river city ransom so yeah
no because you should've known bryan o'malley was still WRITING the last book as the film was being made. He gave Edgar Wright a "rough outline" of what he had planned but then went back to him and told him he changed it all.
You can still see SOME elements of book six in the ending (the power of love and the power of self respect, the death scene, the final sub space shot) but yeah on top of the other changes to the story didn't really bother me
Doesn't matter, Ramona disappears to go on her sabbatical in book 5, there is NO REASON why they needed to change it so that she just up and leaves him for Gideon.
I felt like the movie tried to defame Ramona as a character.
I don't think any girl leaving Scott Pilgrim actually defames her as a character. Her needing him to rescue her from Gideon... yes, that was an issue. Her not putting up with his bullshit and going with a guy from her past (for whatever reason)? Not so much.
The soundtrack is pretty great, BTW. I just wish there was more than one track by Metric.
I literally LOLed at the 13-second Crash and the Boys track.
yeah still need to download it! the soundtrack that is...
Did you get the game?
I've never even heard of Scott Pilgrim until this movie. It really is like Twilight... I feel like it didn't even exist before the movie.
This game?

@Delta Six-Two It TOTALLY existed! Also, Bustie, why are you not in my threadddddd.
Seriously though, how could you people with lives know about anything that I don't? You don't read COMIC BOOKS.
This is a conspiracy.
the crowd erupted at the beginning when they said the story took place "in the magical far away land of toronto"
Was anyone else a little bit irritated by the "WTF THIS IS NOT AT ALL HOW IT HAPPENED IN THE COMICS" ending?
But, other than that, YAYYYYYYYY.

also yeah i was such a dork geeking out at every toronto location i recognized
ok, i'm ready to talk about this movie
i like the game because 1.) it kind of accurately depicts toronto and 2.) you get to beat up hipsters
seriously it fufills my biggest fantasy of beating the shit out of everyone on queen west!
@heens ok i liked it how about you?
i liked it, i wish it was more like the graphic novels, but i understand that not everyone has read them and it sorta had to have been like that
my favorite part was when you could hear comeau say 'the comic books were better than the movie'

yeah, Ramona was pretty kickass in the books
