I'm excited about a book on procedural modeling and texturing I ordered on Amazon. It was a $100 text book that I got for $30. I plan on reading as much of it as I can over my vacation.
I'm also finally moving forward on my lifeline dream of programming games. Turns out spending 5 years in the professional world has matured me enough as a programmer to make it almost effortless to wrap my head around game programming.
depends on what definition of nerd you're using. in my personal definition, just about the biggest ever. however, i've only spent about 15 minutes during my entire lifetime playing video games, and will never go to comic-con or watch anime, so i think this disqualifies me in certain circles.
about a 4. in a few areas, though, i peak out to at least a 9. and a good scoop of geek. plus i have a nasal, analytical-sounding voice, which skews me higher.
