i had a radio by my bed as soon as i exited the womb.
i remember when I realized that I could turn the the little dial and get other music and such. Roundabout confused me so much as a child because it had so many parts and it was just one song.
it was at this point in my life that I decided that Steely Dan was a band of child molesters and and that SuperTramp was from Russia or someting.
since steely dan had such clear lyrics, I used to frequently ask my parents what they meant. my dad was like, "oh, probably some drug reference or something"
my mom didn't handle it so well and started to think she should have stopped after one child.
This is the only yes album I own and I have a hard time listening to any of their music that came out in the 80's.
mood for a day is great and I always like to find guitarists who are able to surprise me.
heart of the sunrise is classic which kinda made it hard to hear it in that car commerical that i cant remember.
the bassist had a bad acid trip and went into seclusion and learned how to play the bass. I dont think he ever dosed himself afterwards. their is only one pick up working on his bass which is on the neck which is what gives his bass playing a distinctive sound.
