I believe it was a "sky pirate" wedding, and I am nowhere near hip enough to know if those are remotely the same thing or not.

I rather suspect there have been quite a few steampunk weddings in California, but it would be pretty awesome if it turns out to be the same one!

I don't remember him saying anything about it being taped, but that doesn't mean it wasn't. I like the idea, but I have a hard enough time getting an outfit together for a regular wedding, much less fabricate one.

Man people here just have regular weddings. California is such a strange land.

Oh, I am super anti-wedding now too. I think once upon a time I sort of wanted one, but now I pretty much just think they're ridiculous. I don't want to throw thousands of dollars away on one day. I'd rather, I don't know... have a house or something.

Yeah, I never wanted the whole wedding thing either. But the boy does. So we're getting married at a Space and Science museum. Possibly in the planetarium.
