Anyone have training tips? I'm going to be training in a group, but I would like to gather some knowledge from those of you who have done something like this before...
Suuuure! Um, groups are great and the people in the group will probably be your best resource. If they give you a training plan, use it! Otherwise, find another one, like Hal Higdon's. You don't have to follow any plan EXACTLY, but plan on one long run on the weekends and 2-3 runs during the week. But yeah, if you have questions, feel free to ask.
Wooo! Which one? When do you start training?
omg that's so awesome!! and yeah, what erica said

thanks ladies! i'm attending an informational meeting next weekend, and the run is in May. I'm really excited but nervous too.
You'll be great! Is it in San Francisco? Hopefully you can get all your people to help cheer.

WELL DONE, BIZZY! This is a terrific new goal in a series of new goals...proud of you!
