Mostly inspired by the godawful thing i had to watch in class today, Kismet. holy christ that's an awful show. even with all of the tunes borrowed from borodin, it still manages to suck royally.

and yes, i'm taking a class called history of american opera and musical theater. and i'm doing an honors project on carousel. and it's REALLY fun.

ugh weber. he is SO INCREDIBLY AWFUL. except for one song, "unexpected song". i have a soft spot for rent, except for the song called rent. worst song ever.

i'm entirely apathetic about les miz. i love the tunes, but some of the songs are overly whiny.
