Yay all of you! Thanks very much. I might post results depending on how interesting they are. Most of the responses have been pretty standard and reflected what I think are normal perceptions so far.

I forget if it asked me or not, and surveymonkey isn't letting me go back and look at the questions again. But are you asking for the respondent's sex?

It just now occurred to me that the perceptions of male and female standards could be significantly different for guys and girls.

I'm not asking about gender, as that would add a whole nother dimension to the topic and I have to stay within 4000 words (for a major research project, I know. Cool, high school, whatever.) The cross-cultural component I am focusing on is age.
