An interesting point was made to me recently: how much has modern-day awkward-guy dancing been influenced by Cliff Huxtable in the credits of "The Cosby Show"? This guy I know seemed to think it was a lot, and I think he might be right.

hmmm- i'm trying to reach back farther into history and all i can come up with is goofy Hannah Barbara characters dancing, and it's not the same as cosby at all. DAG, this is a strong point

My girlfriend's impression of me sounds like Katharine Hepburn.
Fighting the urge to buy my girlfriend a computer. She needs a computer (she's an artist/graphic designer - has an adequate computer at her job, but not at home), she can't afford a computer (at the moment), I can afford a computer. Plus if she had a computer, she'd be able to focus on getting her own apartment (closer to me). Better for all concerned. But it's way too big a gift too soon, right? And wouldn't it unbalance the relationship? Too risky! Still, tempted...
